Deep inside the forest
Shadows linger at night.
It grows stronger
With each passing moment.
Its impatience
Echoing in my ears
Its burning gaze
Haunts me
In my dreams
Its dirty nails
Cuts through my skin.
As dawn breaks,
I feel exhilarated.
And paint my walls yellow,
So it stays bright.
Praying for an
Ever setting sun.
